Studio Transit's Science Museum in Rome has been conceived to convey the idea of a science "made by people and for people" and is articulated on an architectural dimension and a content dimension, which describe science as an activity "made by people", and a second content dimension that transmits a science "for the people". The complex recalls the typical image of the oasis settlement. Its free plan, whose composition apparently follows casual rules of development, is instead dictated by local building traditions and climatic issues, resolved in fluid and organic solids and voids. The intervention involves a building replacement with demolition and reconstruction.The building has four floors above ground, as well as a technical plan.The intended use remains exclusively residential for a total of three apartments, one on each floor.The volume has two fronts with a regular shape covered in travertine worked in peel in pieces and a more articulated front with the projecting terraces of the individual real estate units that overlook the green condominium area and which have a different shape on each floor. The latter are covered with a brise-soleil in vertical light wood rod laid on white plaster masonry. Two buildings from before World War II and one from the 1960s meet at the crossroads of two streets in Rome overlooking, with blind elevations of differing heights, a lower building from the 1930s on the corner. The Offices for the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi, our winning project in an International Design Competition in 2018, are scheduled to be completed in 2024.We strongly wanted a project that was deeply Milanese, using an architectural language that had its roots in the modern Lombard tradition and in Milan in particular; a thread that linked us to the poetics of Terragni, Giò Ponti, Mangiarotti and BBPR; a design that was recognisable for its familiarity with the ways of the city and unique for its reaffirmed belonging to the place. The villa in Formia, designed by Studio Transit, features an interior shaped by a long barrel vault that connects its multiple levels, creating a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. Outside, pure modernist volumes interact with the surrounding landscape, opening toward the Gulf of Gaeta. To re-propose the complexity of the city in a unified body, which stems from a unique design; We wanted to revisit the Roman tradition of the early 1900s in a contemporary key, seeking the urban quality, the compositional articulation and the typological coherence of the expansion interventions of those years, Città Giardino, Garbatella, Piazza Tuscolo. This project aims to bring spaces oriented towards peoples' well-being, welcoming them in a bright open space, characterized by the values of transparency, solidarity and equality. A building defined by two architectural languages: articulated loggias opening toward the valley and a more compact brick façade along the main access road. The brick surfaces wrap the volume, unifying the composition and giving the Quartaccio complex a strong, cohesive presence within the surrounding landscape. The Angelini Headquarters is the result of an international competition that Studio Transit has won.⁠⁠More than a building, this architectural complex represents an “urban measure“, which includes office spaces and general services connected to them, functions connected to each other through a careful and calibrated articulation of interior spaces, gardens and passages.⁠⁠The basic themes of the project revolve around three concepts: relationship with the pre-existing structure, bridge structure and the addition of the multifunctional central element – the ‘ribbon’. P39 project is not just an architectural project, but the project of a central node of the city from an urban point of view. The regeneration of the area, with the reorganization of public spaces and the continuity of cycle and pedestrian paths, connects the route creating a single axis of regeneration and urban innovation and redevelops the entrance gate to the historic city, that from Monza gives access to Brera, following one of the historical routes of Navigli. A project for low cost scholastic buildings – kindergartens, elementary schools and high schools- spread across the city’s hinterland, from Ostia to Passoscuro, from Axa to the Cassia, resolved by a constructed artifice, a large portal, % that contains all of the accessory and service functions. Within the field of irregular building shapes and forms, the purity of a classic geometric object – the square – generates an unmistakable, unique and timeless identity for the city of Milan and for the district of Gioia. The ambition of the project is to provide a prestigious and comprehensive social and urban experience which keeps up with the times and with the changes in technology and human relationships. The Administrative Sicilian Offices complex, in this project by Studio Transit, in addition to hosting the employees of the Region, will be a public space accessible to all citizens, a generator of new urban connections, spaces for staying and services for residents. In the heart of the Flaminio district of Rome, the new residential project combines innovation and tradition, with a language that recalls typological and material elements of historic Roman buildings, with a strong contemporary character.
